Kids TOO Young?!

I found the above quote on Facebook and it made me giggle. I've been saying this since I gave birth to my first :)

When I'm 48, my oldest will be 31 and my youngest will be 24! I could be a grandma a couple times over by then!

If you did the math, it's true. I was a teen mom. I'm not your typical teen mom though and I surprise most people I meet when they find out- it's a good feeling. 

I'm not saying it's better to have your kids young- it's the route not normally taken for a reason. But it does have it's perks! I hope to be like Wes's great grandma- she's in her late 80's and has great-great grandchildren! How cool would that be?! 

I also hope to be snowbirds like my paternal grandparents and Wes's grandparents. My grandparents traveled all over the US in a 5th wheel for a year- how neat, right?! Wes's grandparents have a house in Florida that they stay in for 6th months of the year.

 Sky's the limit and I'm so excited!
