Seasonal Prepping

Clearance has always been my friend. Since the moment I found out I was pregnant, I've hit up those cheap clearance racks.

Super cute long sleeve shirt for $1 that two sizes too big?
Well.. a kid is going to grow, right?! Stock up!!!

Though with the prospect of moving across country, into a whole new climate- those amazing deals don't seem so practical anymore....

I've got a tub of clothes for each of my kids to grow into. Whether it was clearance, thrift store find, hand me down, or on sale; they've got plenty for their future. My girls alone have the largest tote Lowe's had in stock FULL of clothes waiting for them.

I'm rather particular with their clothes now and if I find something that sparks joy, I grab it. There's no guarantee that it'll be there the next time you hit up that store so if it's a must have, I grab it then. It's a lot of fun to dig through the totes when they grow- we find some great pieces!

But now with the move to Alabama, those clearance racks cause me to sneer. It's now a love/hate relationship. Long sleeves, fuzzy hats, snow-proof gloves, large winter coats, and snow boots should NOT be hitting my cart any time soon. How weird!!!

Now take a look at this:
Montana vs Alabama. March 21st, 2016

See how Montana is being it's normal bipolar spring self? Today is beautiful but tomorrow we have a 30% chance of snow.... And look at the difference in Friday!!!! This is mid-late March!!! This is just 1-day into SPRING!!!!

Do you see that red circle by the 2:32 PM on Alabama? That's a frost warning! A FROST WARNING!!!! I don't think Montana gets those.... if it's between September-May- that's your warning.

Life is about to change.... so so much.... I'm getting excited :). It's just going to take some getting used to!
