One of my favorite things to do is pack a little surprise in my kids' lunch boxes!
I try to find all different types. I've got holiday related ones, movie themed, jokes, riddles, sentiments of love and pride of them, puzzles, and even optical illusions! They usually have NO idea what they are getting that day and I think that helps with the excitement :)
When I first started "making" them, I would laminate them. Yes, it helps preserve them but I tend to not use them more than once (I'd hate to keep giving the same kid the same notes!). So anymore, I just print and cut them out and if they make it into the 'Used' bin, then YAY! If not, no biggy.
The best resource to find these already pre-designed lunch notes is from Pinterest. There's a constant supply of new ones being made and there is definitely talent showing up on there. I'm a big fan of bright colors, cute pictures and happy sentiments :)
I printed a BUNCH when my kids went back to school last fall and before each holiday I printed a couple more but for the most part, I haven't had to print any in bulk in a LONG time. But today, I need to replenish my stock :). I've still got a bunch left but none that I'm in love with and well, I want them to love them too!
So today I'm looking for St. Patrick's Day and Easter themed, anything related to it *almost* being Spring, jokes and riddles (their favorites) and anything else I can find!

Now THAT should last me a while!!! I've got three kiddos who have lunch boxes I put notes in so they go by quickly but I think these ones will be huge hits!!!
